How to bridge from Binance Smart Chain (BSC)?
Everything you need to know about bridging from Binance Smart Chain
The native chain “gas” token on BSC is BNB. All transactions on BSC are paid in BNB. This includes bridging “cross-chain” transactions to the other chains “networks”.
How to Bridge “native” USDC stable coins from BSC to other chains?
When you bridge native USDC from BSC to another chain you will get the native USDC on the destination chain. You can verify the contracts on the other chains. Currently the following bridges are supported for bridging native USDC:
- Bridge BSC => Polygon
- Bridge BSC => Ethereum
- Bridge Binance Smart Chain (BSC) => Avalanche
What is Binance Smart Chain (BSC)?
Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is best described as a blockchain that runs in parallel to the Binance Chain. Unlike Binance Chain, BSC boasts smart contract functionality and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). The design goal here was to leave the high throughput of Binance Chain intact while introducing smart contracts into its ecosystem.
How to configure MetaMask for Binance Smart Chain?
You have 2 options to configure MetaMask for using the BSC “network”:
- Automatic by selecting the BSC chain in the RelayChain bridge app. This will import the network settings into metamask.
- Manually by adding the following BSC network settings to Metamask:
Network Name: Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Currency Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
